What other games?

Hi

i have built a new gaming rig (see Sig) and havent really bin gaming the last year or so and just wondered if anyone can recomend some good games for me to play.

im currently enjoying the new starwars game and i have skyrim (but havent played it that much yet) i like fps games or ones like lord of the rings battle for middle earth or ages of empires are there any games like that but more modern? oh and i do plan on getting bf3 soon as well

and any other games you think i might like?

also whats assassin's creed revelations like ive played the ver first one on pc and liked it but sinse then ive played them on ps3 but whats the new one like?

It is pretty much a carbon copy of AC2 and Brotherhood gameplay wise. I would say that it looks a bit better than Brotherhood as well. The AC games look MUCH better at higher resolutions i find(i know it is true of any game, but especially these in my experience)

It is definitely worth playing if you have completed the others as it reveals quite a bit in the story and wraps up Ezio's chapter as well.

It is a very good game but not enough variation from the others. I love the AC games and knew what to expect, but it was getting a bit tired by the end tbh.

I haven't played The Witcher 2 but it sounds interesting. I think it's a traditional point and click RPG rather than an FPS however.
 
See how you get on with Skyrim and BF3 for now, Skyrim can become life consuming and BF3 used on your 'skyrim breaks' :p

Witcher 2 is also not point and click, nor an FPS, think Batman AA/AC meets skyrim.
