I'm looking to build a new pc in the next week or so (thinking about an AM2 if anyone cares) and just want to make sure that I haven't missed anything out.
By my rekoning I need:-

Motherboard
Processor (+HS and Fan)
RAM
HDD
Case (+PSU)
Monitor
OS
KB + Mouse
Optical Drives

Am I missing anything?

Thanks Blokes

Not a component as such but some Thermal Compound and TIM remover wouldn't go amiss.

Oh, and a nice new screwdriver to make things easy (Unless it is a totally screwless case).

And a gamepad if you play anything other than FPS/RTS. I find the Logitech Dual Action Rumblepad to be good.

Bluetooth dongle - if you transfer stuff from your phone
USB stick - invaluable for handy little files/anti-spyware utilities, I find. Especially if you're frequently called upon to fix friends'/relatives' computers!
Headset - if you want to communicate in online games. Especially useful in games like CS:S for determining someone's position without seeing them.

Just 3 that I find very useful, but certainly not essential.
