I have a dell axim X51 at the moment which i use together with a CF GPS Card and tomtom to give me a sat nav...but thats all i use it for...apart from the obvious windows stuff (msn etc etc) what other cool apps are good to use on these?

EDIT: It has wireless and bluetooth

Opera Mobile is a very good browser, allows panning and zooming - have a look over at Modaco for some more hints as there's so much available.

google maps may be worth adding to use as an alternative to tomtom?

Hmmm, ill give it a go but I think tomtom works really well on the PDA, plus it has the added bonus of speed camera locations.

Would be awsome if you could get Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird for PDA's.

i think there is a mozilla browser but its not firefox (even though its pretty similar)

Google maps isn't turn by turn like tomtom is, but still pretty cool i find. if you can get the internet on your pda then the latitude feature is a nice "show off" option that should pinpoint your location and show that location to all your friends who also have latitude (whether it be on the PC, pda, iphone etc)

I've got a few Windows mobile apps I really like:
CurrencyCoverter (comes in handy quite often)
PocketCovert (for measurements, weights, etc.)
youtubeplay (self-explanatory)
Pocketplayer audio player (nicest mp3 player I found for WM - though Slide2play is a good alternative if you have your audio files nicely organised)
I also use audioscrobbler with Pocketplayer to scrobble tracks to last.fm
Coreplayer for video playback (nice player and supports a good range of codecs)
I also like Opera mobile, Google maps and Live search as others have mentioned here.

I have an x51v and have upgraded it to WM6.1 (Google LennySh) and recommend doing this as it opens up more available software. Also google round for dedicated PPC sites.
