What phone are you getting out of the new flagships?

Now all of the new flagship smartphones are announced, and reviews are out or due out very soon, I thought this would be a good question.

So the phones in question would be:

Samsung Galaxy S5
HTC One M8
Oppo Find 7
Sony Xperia Z2

Or, you don't want any of them, or are waiting for the Note 4/iPhone 6. But if this is you, and you had to pick one, what would it be?

I'm personally going for the HTC One M8, though truth be told I'd be happy with any of them, which can only be a good thing. The only sticking point for me was the camera, but having studied all the reviews and examined the camera samples, it's actually very good and seems to be underrated by people who have written it off too quickly. The rest of the phone seems superb.

The S5 is arguably the best all rounder, but I find the design a bit tired and didn't like the feel of the plastic edges, the front and back (surprisingly) are very nice. TouchWiz looks a lot better now but it's very colourful, which I suppose suits the screen.

I like the look of the Z2 but I tried out a Z1 and didn't think much to it, it's hard to say why. It just felt awkward in the hand, the Z2 would only really bring a better screen in comparison, which wouldn't bring me round.

So, what do you think?

The Note 4 is the phone I plan to buy, I'm not actually disappointed with the s4 but I wish I'd waited for the Note 3 as I planned to do last year, I am however an interested observer of the iPhone 6 but only if it has at least the same size screen as the s4.

I want power to crunch through Vid heavy web pages like the ocuk gif thread and as good a camera as you can get on a phone I anticipate both the Note and iPhone will give me this.
 
When are these out? I lost interest in the latest phones some time ago, and currently have a N4 (S3 was stolen).

My contract runs out soon though, so I think I'll get a new phone around July/August time, and would be looking for top of the line Android again
 
I have a Blackberry Q10 and absolutely nothing interests me. If BB die I have no idea where to go, it's such a wonderful OS that simply has not had it's chance :(
 
Still on Note 2 here, none of the new flagships interest me and I'll be skipping one and waiting for the Note 4 as the Note 2 is such a damn fine phone.

If I had to choose from the OP, it would be the S5 as it's waterproof (handlebar mount for my road bike) and it's got a sensibly-sized bezel.

The M8 is out now, the S5 is April 11th and the Z2 is 14th~.
 
Struggling to justify moving on from the Note 1 - but Z2 and possibly Note 4 are top of my list for potential replacements.

EDIT: Z1/2 phones and how they sit in the hand is very marmite some people love it some hate it.
 
If the Note 4 is just a big S5, no deal. If it's a thin-bezel all-metal body with a great camera and screen, shut up and take my money.
 
Don't really plan to upgrade but out of those I say the Z2. M8 is nice but the camera and design puts me off, although it does feel nice to hold. Touchwiz just plain annoys me. Oppo Find 7 is nice but the size is outside my comfort zone.

i'm gonna stick with my moto g until the nexus 6 comes out, that is, if it's a worthy upgrade over the g (which i'm still blown away by).
 
none of them interest me at the moment

Im waiting to see what the Note 4, Nexus 6, next iphone are like
 
HTC One M8 is probably the one id choose out of that list.

Although Im currently having a hard time deciding between an M8, Z1 Compact or Nexus 5 as my next upgrade.
 
leaning towards Oppo Find 7 or z2, but I will wait for some reviews of the find 7 and a few more reviews of the z2 before deciding I think.

Already have an m7 which i like but m8 is a bit to similar. (I will miss blink feed though)
 
Don't forget the Lumia 930. :)

All of them are undersized phablets to me :D The only ones I'm waiting for are...

Moto X replacement (Hope Lenovo don't mess up and super size it)
Lumia 1030 (Only if camera quality outweighs the size)
Z2 Compact (thin bezels/bigger screen and lighter please Sony)
iPhone 6 (probably too expensive compared to the rest unless it's something special)

If I had to choose it would be the M8 - just because it oozes build quality and the rest of it's specs is good enough.

But I'm holing out for the Moto X 2014, and whatever else...

robbo - where's the poll? :p
 
not s5 absolutely not
m8, a few personal issues i have with it, battery being one
z2 is my current choice

my only fear with z2 is the edges around the bottom look sharpish, will wait for a physical play
