What phone?

I currently have a BlackBerry Bold 9000, but the screen seems to be fubared so I was thinking about a replacement phone. I really do like BlackBerry phones, I would probably like to stay with RIM but am not sure what replacement BlackBerry would be for me...

I was looking at the 9700 and at the moment I cannot get it from my carrier as I'm not due an upgrade yet, so it seems I will have to buy it sim free..how much will it set me back, and how much will I be able to get for my 9000 if I sell it?

Any other suggestions for phones besides BlackBerry? A few things that make me want to keep with BlackBerry is:

• The messenger
• Push email - I'm aware that this is now possible on most other handsets?
• The keyboard!

But I do find the battery life terrible, and applications very limited...

I'd suggest sticking with BB if you really like it, but here are some other phones to check out to put your mind at ease.

Well someone is offering me a Bold 9700 for £270~£280 is that a good price, remembering I also will probably get about £150 for my Bold 9000?

I wish I could just upgrade my handset now with O2!
