A smart playlist for picking a 14GB chunk of songs is what I primarily use.
It is good to have a few others, party shuffle picks the worst songs ever, and I'll be damned if I'm rating all my tracks
Saying that, Is there a database of ratings available? Be nice to have them rated for me

Beethoven for when I'm studying
First Person Shooting for when I'm gaming online and want to listen to some music whilst kicking bottoms (Connect360)
Night Listening for when I drag a list of songs and listen with headphones whilst in bed - no need to worry about the music playing 24/7 out of my library if I fall asleep.
Red Vs Blue - because it's quicker clicking that play list than finding them in my movie list.

If there's a database, I can bet there'll be a lot of even more crap ratings for music, most pop and chav type of music will probably top the ratings whilst good rock music e.t.c. which I listens to get 1 star or something :/
I rather trust my no ratings and party shuffle than that - at least I know 80% of my library holds music I like...

That's true.
I like a lot of classic rock (80% of my music), but I just cba to rate each album because I know there would be some album(s) that may contain a rare stinker and it'd ruin the smart playlist idea I had
LOL @ chav music.. if it isn't in the top 40 then it'd be a 1 or 2!
That's pretty cool actually. I don't use ratings at all, so even if it stuffs it up, I will be able to clear all ratings easily enough.
