what plug to power speakers

I keep having to use the power cable from my freeview box to power my pc speakers cos i cant find my other power supply..

Its got on the plug im using..

Input: 100-240Volts, 50-60hz, 0.7A
Output: 12V ==2A

dont say if its ac or dc tho?

Hiya,
Any standard multiplug should be able to do it no probs :)
It will be DC- AC doesn't come in that sorta voltage ;)
The only thing that needs to be set right is the polarity- There will be a symbol that looks like this:

Set this & the voltage the same on a multiplug thingy and you should be good to go.
