Richard Herring's RHLSTP
The Adam Buxton podcast
The Rewatchables ( Heat is probably my favorite )
The Two Shot Podcast
Distraction Pieces ( Scroobius Pip interviews folk)

But my favourite right now is

Stop Podcasting Yourself:
2 Canadian comedians just chat and have banter. Usually they are joined by a guest from the local comedy scene so I have never heard of them ( occasionally Reggie Watts is in or say Josie Long ) but it's by far and away the funniest most listenable thing I have enjoyed in a long time.

So what are your favourites and why ?
 
I also listen to RHLSTP , Buxton, and Scroobius Pip, but my favourites at the moment are probably :

Dax Shepard's Armchair Expert
Marc Maron's WTF
Films to be Buried With (Brett Goldstein)

I'd also recommend The Parapod , which has finished its run, but is seriously funny: enough so that I relisten from time to time.

It's great, though sometimes a bit intense. Not one to binge. I don't listen to every episode, depends who's on, but I have listened to, and really enjoyed, some with guests I knew nothing about.

yeah the Joe Rogan one is like that - you gotta pick your battles - I'm obsessed with that Canadian one though and have been bingeing to catch up - they've been going for 10 years and I only discovered them in March ! Through Buxton in fact. But any spare time is with that podcast on

Used to list to the Comedians Comedian but stopped listening a while back and struggled to pick up again.

Nothing greatly intellectual i'm afraid but gives me a chuckle on the commute!

A great many.

Now Playing is definitely one of the best. They break it down, do the research, add some humour, it's just a great film cast that gets a lot of support.
 
Stuff You Should Know - Tends to pick a topic each week, they research and give a reasonable insight into it (topics include Pompeii, Castles,Prohibition etc)

Freakonomics - Looks at how economics affects everyday life

Quickly Kevin - Hilarious 90's football podcast
