What power supply ?

Would this need.

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Energy Efficient 95W edition
ASUS P5K AiLifestyle Series iP35 Socket 775
OCZ 2GB Kit (2x1GB) DDR2 800MHz/PC2-6400 CL 4

and a 6600GT graphics card.

And also, can anyone suggest anything for my spec. I'm not upgrading my gfx.

Hello mattbrown91, the Corsair VX 450W ATX PSU will be absolutely fine for the system that you have there.

I didn't mention, I've already got a 400W Akasa power supply. Was wondering if it still had the ooompff

If you're buying a quad, I hope you're doing CPU intensive stuff. And not notepad.

Your Akasa should be fine, if it is over 2ish years old then I might be considering buying a new one but otherwise I'd use it without any worries.

Yeah the Akasa 400W is fine for now, consider an upgrade when choosing a high power gfx card or a heavy cpu overclock in the future though.

Just getting another PSU puts another £50 onto the spend. =/

Erm, yeah. Reasonably CPU intensive stuff. I will be folding and dabbling in video editing.

What i tend tend to do is buy the best budget psu - and the last one was a hiper and broke :S......this time around i invested and bought a Corsair HX 620W - Hoping it will last me a couple of upgrades

You only need 620W if you are running duel GFX card IIRC. The 520 Corsair is the choice of many atm.
