PSU is on its way out stupidly bought a unbranded one and its barely lasted 5 months,

So my requirements are a PSU which will be able to power my future rig,

GTX 295 or 4870X2
Same quad core (Q6600)
Another GB of ram so 4GB
Same HD, 320GB Sammy.

Want it as cheap as possible but at the same time it needs to be a good brand as I don't want to buy another in a few months.

Thanks Kane

The Corsair come out as noisey and hot in a recent review at anything above 50% load. Very stable and can produce their full load though.

These come out as their best budget psus http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-031-OC&groupid=701&catid=123&subcat=1098

they come with a lack of PCI-E connectors instead they give u molex converters

Yes it would, but it would cost more. ;)

but he might be running a GTX 295:( and kenny stop getting lazy with your posts mate make an effort:D

Yeh well the budget was like £70 and that orangey red one has a 5 year warranty so will get that in a week or two when the wages come through.

Was going to get ARMA 2 but after playing the demo and then playing Call of Duty I realised how boring it actually is so part of the ARMA budget will go into the PSU budget if that makes sense.

Thanks for all your help anyway guys :D :).

Cheapest PSU that isn't rubbish: OCZ
If you're spending a bit more: Corsair, PC P&C

Add to your 1st list, Silverpower, Akasa, but people are always swayed by modular, right ?
Add to your second list Seasonic, arguably THE best, along with PC P&C (and manufacturer of about half the Corasir models).
