Noticed this yesterday evening on the passenger rear side of bumper. By the looks of it, someone tried to park to my left front first. As they turned left, the front driver's side of their vehicle clipped mine, making the big scrape, taking the basecoat and topcoat off. Then they carried on pulling in as there are paint scratches closer to the rear wheel arch. Sound about right? It could happenned when I was at the supermarket yesterday.

It looks worse than it is just because the car's dirty. Bumper is in plastic. Car is 1999 Honda Civic hatchback in burgundy.

What products do you suggest to cover these up? I get the feeling T-cut might not be suitable for the big chip. Never used any of things products.

Thanks in advance.

You need to add paint, not remove it. T-Cut removes minute layers of paint as it is an abrasive, so you are right - it won't be suitable.

Dont bother with a respray.... The Honda dealership where I was used to just get a new bumper from Honda and fit it as it comes pre-painted and actually worked out cheaper then spraying the old bumper...

Price it up before you do anything.

I'll consider the respray or new bumper and get quotes.

I have actually got a 2 year old 5 cm paint crack/chip further along the bumper from my own fault parking against a low barrier , so it would make sense to do the above unless it's really expensive.

get a quote to respray it

for a front bumper alone it shouldnt be any more than about £150 if you use a local backstreet spray shop. Just ask around to get one that others have used and you can inspect what they had done !
