What PS3 game to get

Nope, I take it bad? Played on the usual suspects, GT HD, F1, Motorstorm and RFOM. Carbon was atrocious on the 360 for slow down if the demo is anything to go by :(
 
Not much quality on the PS3 at the moment.

Take away the cross platform games and there really isn't anything of note out at this time.

Been playing that on my PS3 too and what a game :cool: All the other PS3 title are a wait of time and money. Most PS3 titles are just old 360 games (which can now be had for bargain prices), but you pay extra for the privilege for a bad port on the PS3.

Blazing Angels doesn't run terribly, it's just terrible.

Motorstorm has some terrible slowdown in it!
 
If you like racing games then F1 is a must have, its arcadey, but really good fun. I know you say you dont like it, but VF5 is a hoot, maybe try and give it a go if you know someone that has it as its great.
 
Well I traded in Rfom and VF5 today and got Oblivion and GOW2. Both are superb and I feel I made a good decision. Probably not worth getting Oblivion but GOW2 is superb :)

P.S. VF5 was good for all of a couple of hours, then bored me silly :(

And that's where the limitation of a games catalogue is costing the PS3.

Def Jam Icon is pretty good, but it's a nothing title on the Xbox360 and Xbox360 users aren't bothered by FA2 because FA was terrible.

I had BA on 360 and PS3 and I have to say that the 360 is definately the port. It had tearing all over the place, most of the cut scenes were removed and it just didn't look or play as good as the PS3 version!!!

Well, off an auction site, for £26 all in. Hope it's worth that.

I've never seen BA, though was considering it, is it really so bad?

Wish they'd put more demos up on the store, though if they're bad ports, I guess this is why they don't! ;) That way I have to buy it blind, and hope for the best. Ah well, I enjoyed COD1&2 on the PC, I haven't played the XBOX version, so won't be able to compare it... hopefully it's good enough... and hopefully I'll get that hang of playing FPS on a controller at some point. Am progressing nicely through R:FOM though, and as has been previously posted, it gets brilliant as you start to progress. Graphics aren't the best, but for fun factor, it gets my vote.

I never got the chance to playing call of duty 3 on the 360 but i do have it on the ps3 and iv been on it most of this morning and enjoying it:)

Not played it online as yet
