I've been building a office computer out of spare parts for someone who would just use it for internet, music, films, very mild gaming with old games (Half life, counter strike etc) and word processing.
The parts I have already are:
Intel Pentium G3220 3.0GHz (socket 1150)
8GB Corsair RAM 1600MHz
500GB SATA 3 hard drive
Bitfenix Beta ATX Case
CD drive
What would be a good power supply and motherboard to go with them for about £100 max? I have messed around with a few items from Overclockers and this is most 'appealing' to me
YOUR BASKET
1 x Seasonic G series 360w '80 Plus Gold' Power Supply £49.99
1 x Gigabyte H81M-D2V Intel H81 (Socket 1150) DDR3 Micro ATX Motherboard £46.99
Total : £106.58 (includes shipping : £8.00).

I chose the Seasonic because of the 5 year warranty, good reputation on these forums and many others, good reviews and gold efficient.
The reason I picked the motherboard was for the UK based RMA service and personal good experience with Gigabyte.
Another option I was thinking could be to get a Corsair CX 430W PSU from a friend who has one still sealed for about £20 less than the Seasonic then using that money to spend on a better motherboard or keep. Not sure what the difference in reliability is though.
This person would most likely use this build until it dies and is not cost effective to repair so reliability is a major concern. Not to fussed about upgradablity but would be nice if the option to slip in a low end GPU or i5 etc in a few years time.
My final concern is about a MATX board in a ATX case. Would most power supply's be able to reach all the connections?
Thank you
