Ok a quick question......

My System:
i7 980 (non x) @4.4ghz
6gb HyperX 1800+ Ram
2x MSI 660ti OC1 SLI
2x Intel 180gb SSD's RAID 0
Gigabyte G1 Guerilla
1x Samsung F3
Intel Extreme Cooler ((works surprisingly well)

Basically I need a new case and PSU and was looking for recommendations based on my current hardware.

Budget is about £300 for the 2 items.

Thanks in advanced guys

Hmm,

PSU looks good, was looking at that and the HX860i on scan...

The case on the other hand... I need something more standard as my outwards space is quite limited, What do you think about the antec 1100/corsair 600t/Fractal R4...

My thoughts on the three cases.
Antec = I owned a P160 for 3 months and hated it, I'm sure the 1100 will be a lot better, I don't like the look of the case personally but one mans poison is another mans meat.
Fractal = Good cases, but shocking build quality & flimsy packaging, the main Reason OCUK no longer stock them.
Corsair = The 600T is quite wide, I'd suggest another model in the range. have a look for yourself.

Out of that lot I'd go for the 550D, I would say it would be the closest to the Fractal R4 (bit more expensive though)

Ok so I have ordered the Silverstone Strider ST75F-G Evolution PSU (750W), the reviews all looked very promising...

As for the case I'm really struggling....

I'm leaning towards the 650d but am a bit put off by the age and lack of usb3.0 via header....

I have a 650d, and have ordered an adapter for the usb 3.0 header. I will let you know (if i remember) how it goes.
