what PSU do these cards require?

1. Yes, though as I understand it BF4 taxes the cpu as well the gpu.

2. Reference models require 500w for the 7850, and 450 for the 660. So, I can't see those needing much more power, if any. As suggested above, a decent 500w / 550w should be fine.

3. Not sure, though I don't think these would be anywhere near as long as, for example, the Asus models. I should imagine under 10", or thereabouts (reference models for the 660 are 9.5" if that's of any help).

4. Overall, imo the GTX660. The 7850 can usually overclock very well indeed, though I think we need to remember that the Nvidia 600 series does well in that respect, too. At stock, the GTX660 is faster.

I would shop around and buy a 670 or 7950. Just from a brief look you can still find 670's for a shade over £160....

That will be much faster than either the 7850 or 660

Noooo
It probably has a cheapo 300-400w psu
Maybe something like a 7750 and it would still blow it up.
Even if it is 500-600w it might not run a gpu as I had a friend who I gave a gtx 560ti on a 600w platinum( that's a brand name) it wouldn't even power until we got a corsair unit
