What PSU for 780TI Sli ?

Can anyone recommend me a power supply which is good enough for running 2 780TI's in SLI ?

obviously id like to spend as little as possible without the PSU being rubbish...

I guess i'll spend whatever i need to spend in order to have a good enough PSU to do the job.. ideally though i want to spend as little as possible.

Looking at 780ti SLI reviews seems to be a huge difference in power consumption across the sites between 560w and 780w total system power. Personally I can't see a pair pulling more than 700w but to be safe I would take a look at the EVGA Supernova G2 850w. It is a high quality unit built by Superflower and is based on their Leadex Gold platform. It comes with a whopping 10 year warranty and Jonnyguru gave it 9.9 out of 10 in his review.

I'v pulled more than 750 watt with my x2 classified Ti.

No sure what reference would pull tho?

A Geforce GTX 780 Ti required 42A and 600W PSU minimum.

To add another GTX 780 Ti for SLi required about 15A plus the other extra 12V for the CPU, motherboard and other devices.

I would suggest EVGA SuperNova G2 850W '80 Plus Gold' Modular Power Supply.

It's the current available on the rail which is more likely to be a problem - especially if it's a cheaper unit or if you are cutting it fine with the power rating of the psu.
