what psu in vostro 200

anyone know what psu is worth putting in my vostro 200, atm theres a bestec 300w, in process of upgrading it, and what a better gpu

atm spec
E6550 core 2 duo
6gb ddr2 ram
crappy gpu x1300, plans to upgrade to a newer better gpu, so advice would be appriciated as well

best advice would be to scrap it and build a new pc, any hdd, optical drive etc you could salvage from it?
