So , i recently bought a fractal design define mini c so that i could reduce the size from my behemoth Antec 900.

I had decided to give my PSU (520hx) a clean (it appears moths had been living inside it!) before sticking it in the new case, and took it apart to clean inside. When i came to put it back together it i realised i couldn't fit it inside the case.

Upon further inspection it became apparent that the psu case was a bit bent (like this https://i.imgur.com/ibaRJrs.jpg). I then spent about an hour wrestling to try make the PSU metal sides fit together to remove the bend, and seem to have made it worse than before

so now i have a deformed PSU which doesn't fit in my new case, so i guess i need a new one.,

Can you recommend what size PSU i would need ? im considering to upgrade to a 3060 or equivalent when GPU prices come down.

i was thinking of a 650w ? or do i need 750w?

did did a quick calculator and it says 82% load on a 650w or 73% on a 750w

next years nvidia 4000 series gpu meant to be a power hog from some reports. if you buying another psu that'll last another 10yrs, who knows what the psu requirements will be in 5yrs time. a bit of leeway now might same a bit in the future
