Hello all. Can anyone recommend a PSU wattage for the following build? I do NOT plan to overclock.

MB: Z170 Chipset
CPU: Intel Core i5 6600K
RAM: 2 x DDR4 8GB Corsair Vengeance 2133MHz (16GB TOTAL)
GFX: 1 x Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
HDD: 3 x Western Digital 2TB SATA 7200RPM
FANS: 3 x 120mm, 1 x 140mm
OPTICAL: 1 x DVD-RW drive, 1 x Blu Ray drive

I've used 6 PSU Calculators on the Internet, and they've given varied results that ranged from 400W - 700W.

Any help will be most appreciated, thanks in advance.

A 450Watt PSU would be fine for that build - maybe get a 500Watt if you want a little bit more headroom (e.g. for a more powerful graphics card, or if you do change your mind e.g. if the processor becomes a bottleneck)

As Armageus says, 450w would be more than enough for that even with overclocking (you have a 6600k and a Z170 board and you will always be thinking of how much more you can squeeze out of it :D). I have yet to see my pc pull 300w at the wall even with the 1070 heavily overclocked while benching. Noraml gaming use is 220-250w at the wall depending on the game.

The fixed cables Superflower Golden Green HX 450w is on offer at the moment and is a decent psu with a single 12v rail of 444w and a 5 year warranty.

If you wanted a Platinum rated psu then the Superflower Platinum King 450w is also on offer at the moment. It also has fixed cables, a single 12v rail of 444w and a 5 year warranty.

If you want fully modular the brand new Bitfenix Whisper M 450w is a good choice. It has triple 12v rails with the full 450w available across them. Each rail is split into their own group of components so 12v1 is for the motherboard and peripherals, 12v2 is for the cpu and 12v3 is for the gpu. It has a 7 year warranty. Review of the 550w version here.

Pricing just gets silly after the Bitfenix and you are better off moving to the up to 800w category on OCUK because you can get the fixed cable Superflower Platinum King 650w for £70 at the moment and the fully modular Superflower Leadex Gold 550w for £74.

Thanks for the replies guys.

Changed my mind on the graphics card - might go for the Radeon RX 470 instead.

As for the PSU, I've set no more than £50 for it. I'm looking at the Corsair VS 550W or the Corsair CX 500W. Right now, leaning towards the VS 550. Are the Corsair VS series PSUs reliable?

Thanks in advance.

Having RMA'd 2 out of 4 Corsair PSU's (both HX PSU's too) My answer would be no, not with those models anyway.

Only Corsairs I would buy now would be the RMi or RMx series & that would be only if there was no other choice.

For under £50 the Superflower HX450 is a no brainer.

Both are rubbish. Avoid the VS series at all costs. They are bargain basement junk with cheap and nasty internals. Do yourself a favour and buy a decent psu, it's not the place to save money. There are two I have recommended above that are either side of your £50. The Superflower Golden Green HX450w at £44 and the Superflower Platinum King 450w at £55. Both are vastly superior in quality to the Corsair CX and VS series which is why they have 5 year warranties compared to the 3 years on the Corsairs.
