Hi yesterday i tried to over clock my amd phenom II x4 965 be to 3.5ghz from 3.4 stock also overclocked my gpu asus hd7770 2gb ddr5 as much as asus software lets me

it was all working fine untill suddenly while playing arma3 alpha my pc completely shut off leaving only the gpu power light on. i have tested the the system with an old 300w psu and everything powered up fine so i guess im lucky.

i would like to oc my cpu to the 4.0ghz mark or more 4.2ghz at the most. also run my gpu as high as i can with out this happening again.

im currently with out a pc so this is being typed on my ps3 sorry for the mistakes.

my system is
amd phenom II x4 964 be deneb
asus hd7770 2gbddr5
16gb corsair vengance ram
1tb wcb hdd
250gb toshiba hdd
windows 7 home premium 64bit
gigabyte ad9a-s mobo

no case or psu

i was running the pc without a case as i have multiple desk fans keeping the cpu mobo and gpu cold under load running at 54* that was when it was overclocked before the psu fried itself.

any psu for up to £70 would be great what would you reckomend?

on a side note im upgradingg to an i7 3770k and a gtx 690 very soon (new build) so a psu that could power that when oc'd would be perfect also still within the £70 mark please
