What PSU would I need

Basically im jsut curious with this one

What wattage of PSU would I need to run this sort of setup

ASUS M4A79XTD EVO
AMD x6 1055T
ATI HIS 5770
10 x HDD's
2 x DVD DRIVES

Might sound strange but im going to be using this as a rig for general use/storage and some music work here and there

I used some online calculators and they have all said 550-650 but I dont quite trust that figure at all and was thinking more along the lines of 750-850w

850 watt would be more than enough, but 750 is just about right.

A quality 600w would be fine.

honestly ? I have a 650w corsair TX PSU and was planning on using it until I got more hdd's .... currently have 6 but all full up and need more hence why I suggested 10 lol just incase

Think that psu would handle it ?

The Corsair PSU would be fine.

Ha... I never expected that, no doubt I would have attempted it anyway but its better to ask just incase.

I reckon your about right on that one, looks like buying used is the way to go for the next few months at least
