Hi
I might have osted this originally in wrong area.

I'm looking at new PC's and can't find the full specs of the refract Gaming Jade on the product page ie what ram the 4060ti is, either 8gb or 16gb. Obviously this can be important with some modern games.

Why is this missing or am I not seeing it?

Actually, looking at some other prebuilds, Overclockers doesn't seem to provide ram amount on others too, which is weird

Thanks

Overclockers say they're the experts, why would they not state this in specs for prebuilds? It's not particularly fair on prospective buyers and looks like deliberate omission. I don't know a lot about computers but I'm told that with recent games the 8gb models could prove problematic.

I actually don't recall seeing other retailers ever not disclosing the ram amount of gpus

My guess would be that when the blurb was produced they didn't know and nobody has since noticed that it needs updating. I doubt it was malicious, since many other builds allow you to specify the exact card.

It's every non configurable pc as far as I can see, not just one. I just think it's odd that people would fire ahead and purchase without knowing, but that's another question.

Ahh, yeah, I guess it doesn't matter for e.g. the 4070 and 4060 builds, because there's not multiple variants, but the 4060 Ti it is necessary/important. I would also not purchase without knowing! If you let them know, I expect they'll get it fixed.

Seems a pile of manufacturers (including the 'experts' at Overclockers where "every component is cherry-picked" and "carefully curated to deliver outstanding gaming performance"), all have the 8gb graphics cards unless you aim very high. Despite the number of experts who say stay away from 8gb GPUs now to avoid issues with too low vram.

I've checked a pile more Overclockers prebuilds and ALL omit mentioning the 8gb.

With these "cheaper" pre-builts always asume you are going to get the worst case scenario such as lowest VRAM amount, slow ram, stock cooler, unspecified B650 motherboard (usually one of the cheapest) and a crappy Kolink psu just like this build has.
