Hi all,

I'm a little confused as to which RAM my motherboard can support. According to the manual it says ;

"Support for DDR3 2800(OC)/1600/1333/1066 MHz memory modules"

Cheers

The D3H supports all speed of DDR3 RAM currently available via dividers not just the ones you list.

If your using IVY CPU the sweet spot is 2133mhz in terms of performance.

I'm using an i5 3570k (IVY) mate. Thanks for clearing that up for me!

Well with that CPU 1600mhz up is what you need but for me the best option is 2133 c9 best of all worlds.

have you looked on gigabytes qvl list for supported memory? Samsung green also works well now with latest beta bios's for gigabyte boards

No I haven't mate. Running 1333mhz stuff at the moment. Most RAM don't seem to be 2133Mhz, most seem to be 1600Mhz...

Would I notice much difference between RAM speeds?

No not really,1600mhz tends to be the best,but 1333mhz should be fine,2133mhz would be more noticeable in benchmarks and games
