I have an early 2007 MacBook Pro with 2gb at the moment. How can I find out what RAM I need for it? Looking to stick 4 or 8 Gb in it if possible. It says 667 DDR2. Anyone point me in the right direction here? Thanks

Go on the crucial website, it can guide you there and tell you what ram you need. It also offers to scan your system and tell you what ram you need too

Ran the crucial checker and it says this model can take up to 3GB. It doesn't recommend sticking unmatched RAM sticks in it so maybe I'm better off just setting for the 2GB it already has. Would the performance not be much better with unmatched sticks I wonder?

MacBook Pro 3,1 Santa Rosa (Nov 07) which will take 4GB and will address all 4GB.
