I’m not quite ready to buy the other bits of gear but with the prices of ram rocketing I’m wondering if im best to get something now.

I’m thinking of an AMD build and will be playing BF6.

What 32gb ram would you recommend please?

Is this for the X3D or a non-X3D CPU? If the X3D, anything not terrible will do, so I'd just shop around for a good deal on a 6000 something.

For the non-X3D CPUs, the speed suggested above is usually best, but I still wouldn't pay a premium for it. For example: if you can get a 6000 C36 kit for £120 or a 6000 C30 kit for £170, I'd get the C36 kit.

EXPO is preferable, but not required.

If you're happy with 32GB, I'd have a look at 48 and 64GB anyway, because you never know if a good price deal will pop up.

For what's in stock at OCUK right now, I'd pick these:

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £265.97 (includes delivery: £7.99)

Check with the motherboard manufacturer first what RAM they have tested with.

Otherwise you may find yourself running at stock speed.

No matter what you do.

Also, be aware that even if it is on that list, it's still not 100% guaranteed to run at the OC speed.

It's just more likely to do so if it is.

DDR5 6000MHz CL30.

I got Corsair but that was just because I have Corsair everything else and the RGB integrates.
This was the advice based on price/performance and the relativity small difference between buying cl36 and cl30. The difference in price between the 2 is now pretty significant so cl36 would be the better buy unless you're chasing benchmark scores.

I think the advice now is whatever you can buy for a reasonable price.
