I am mulling over an upgrade from my 3700x to a 5600x.
What ram would you buy for a 5600x?
I have no idea what the FCLK's are capable on the 5000 series.
What's the most common FCLK they can achieve?
As for overclocking, I think I just want a set of ram that I can just set a DOCP profile and forget about it.
---
I had a look at the Patriot Vipers 4400 which look cheap.
But I am afraid that if I do not manage to achieve stability with these sticks I will be left in no mans land with no DOCP profile to fall back on.
What do you reckon?
The cheaper Patriots might even be a better option as they have a second profile for 3866MHz which a 5600x might achieve?
---
Let me ask a completely different question.
The 8 Pack 3600MHz CL14 ram these aren't just the same as my 8 Pack 3200MHz ram just highly overclocked right?
Also if I by them and keep my 3700x at XMP my RTX 3080 shouldn't cause the ram to overheat right?
I mean my case thermally is meant to be good (Phanteks P400a)

Now I'm thinking maybe the Patriot 4400MHz sticks might be the best shout and sticking with my 3700x.
