What Ram fx505

Hi everyone.

I would like to upgrade the ram in my fx505 with Ryzen 3550h from 8gb to 16gb

According to cpu z it's currently got ddr4 2666

Could anyone help me out as to if it supports faster ram and what it can go to?

Also would I see any increased performance with faster ram?

It only supports 2400mhz but Asus use 2666mhz as it’s readily available. Just grab another 8GB 2666mhz stick and your good to go....
