What RAM is compatible in laptop?

Hi all,

My Mum recently bought a laptop that is painfully slow (ACER Aspire 3 A314-21). It's only got 4GB RAM but I've seen on reviews others have added another 4GB to it, to help speed things up a little.

How will I know what type of RAM is compatible, and and links would be appreciated!

Crucial seem to have 7 ram options with guarenteed compatability. What speed is your current ram?
