What RAM should I use with an 11900K?

I've bought an Asus Rog Strix Z590-E and 11900k and am going to use my existing 4 x 8GB Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 PC4-25600C16 3200Mhz (CMK16GX4M2B32) for now. My understanding is that on a 11900K it will run at 1:1 ratio which is preferable.

Would CMK16GX4M2G4000C16
be a better option? I could get 16GB for now and more later on.

Any reason your going 4x8gb?

Only because that is what I have from my current 6700K build. I'll put 2 x 8GB in first so I can run the two computers side by side then when I'm happy put the second two 8GB sticks in the new comp and sell the 6700K machine.
I may eventually buy 32GB of the fastest/best/lowest latency RAM I can get at a later date.

I have the same. 4 8gig sticks and was looking to go 2 16gigs but I dont think any improvement will be worth the cash.

11900k loves memory bandwidth, and is able to run very high frequencies thanks to 1:2 ratio being available.

I'm currently using my old Crucial Ballistix RGB 32GB Kit (2 x 16GB) DDR4-3600 Desktop Gaming Memory (Black) kit (BL2K16G36C16U4BL). This is highly overclockable, currently running error free completely stable at 4000Mhz C18.

Though I'm on the lookout for one of the upcoming 5000Mhz+ kits, as these will be designed with 1:2 ratio in mind.

Forgive my ignorance here but does the 1:1 ratio mean my 3200Mhz ram when running XMP is running at its optimum? Im not sure how this ratio works and what I should have mine set to?
If I got fast ram in the future would I have to use the 1:2 ratio then?

Ok,
My new build has been amazing and so far hasn’t gone above 75c at load.

With 16GB in CPUz single core score was 712. With 32GB in it only goes to 698. I did a memtest and it had 76 errors. Does this mean my memory is dead? If I replace it would I be better off with 2 x 16GB sticks? The only issue is they need to be low profile to fit under my Dark Rock Pro 4 cooler (which is amazing)

I’m going to take out the second pair of sticks and see how it performs. Maybe 16GB is enough for my gaming use?

Try swapping the 2 known good sticks with the 2 that gave errors and repeat the test, if you get errors with just the 2 sticks installed then it's likely the ram is bad.

I pulled out the second pair but have not yet re-tested either pair on their own yet.
Assuming I do need new ram what would you recommend? (16GB or 32 if possible in two sticks rather than four)
