Hi!

It seems that my RAM is causing BSOD and random lockups.
After running Memtest it immediately got errors so I am now looking to replace it.

I´m just not sure what to get so I ask you for some advice.
My mobo is Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD5 with an i7 920 D0 @ 3.6Ghz and 3x 2GB tripple channel DDR3 (Crucial something something (at work right now)).

I was thinking of getting 2x 4GB sticks such as:

Only issue I have is that I am not 100% certain that this will run fine as it isnt tripple channel.

Thank you for reading and please advise! :D

Thanks for the reply mickyflinn!

It seems that I don't have to buy new memory after all.
When I initially ran MemTest on all 3 sticks together I almost immediately got errors.
Then I ran MemTest on each stick individually and in the end all 3 together and got 0 errors after more than 20 passes each time.

It looks like reseating the sticks fixed the issue, for now, until I have to reseat them again.
Pretty weird to be honest, but at least it is working now.
