Hello i have just got a DFI Lan Party UT NF4 SLI-D soc 939 pci exp

what is the best options for RAM i want 2 GB

my chip is an opty 165 san diego 1.8 2 mb cache

How about some Corsair TwinX matched RAM?

yeah that is what i ordered but it does not work (or gave me loads of problems) so i rang OCUK and man i the know said that corsair RAM does not like DFI mobos so now i am stuck????

any body out there with DFI mobos What are you running ??????

OCZ personally - have used G.skill, Geil. Mushkin are good too. Anything but Corsair! (and crucial ballistix).

What BIOS are you using with the board? Flash to the latest BIOS and it will sort any problems. The only time I had a problem with Corsair RAM on my DFI board was when I was using the default BIOS. I flashed it to a newer version and I've never had a problem since with Corsair RAM and I've used 3 different sets in my board.
