What Ram?

Thought i would post in here due to higher traffic and wanting to get something ordered asap:

Ok so currently got my 6300 clocked at 3.01 with the ram holding me back. Got a budget of abotu £35. WOuld it be best to go down:

8500 route and clock the cpu more but keep 2gb worth of ram.

Get another set of 1 x 2gb 6400 ram and add to my current 1 x 2gb. (cost of £20)

Or scrap the current set and get a 2 x 2gb set of 6400?

Runnin xp 32 so wont be getting full effect but possibly in new year upgrade to vista.

I'd probably just buy more rams = 4gb. That E6300 isn't going to clock much higher (3.2-3.4ghz I reckon), and if you're upgrading to Vista you're gonna need 4 jiggabytes.

Or maybe save a bit, and get one of these kits?

an extra set of 1 x 2gb? would i see much difference getting that over 2 x 2gb? Just thinking for cheapness, and by time I need more than 4gb no doubt a total new PC will be needed.

I see no reason to replace the 1x2GB you already have. Just add another stick. Mind and sign up for free postage.
