Right decided im sick of 2gb of ddr3 and now want 4gb! Would really have liked to have bought from ocuk but there choice of ddr3 dual channel is a bit poor now!
Have found this - OCZ 4GB PC3-12800 Intel Extreme Edition (2x2GB)
(Timings 7-7-7-24) for around £110
But also found - Patriot 4GB PC3-14400 Viper Extreme Performance (2x2GB)
(Timings 8-8-8-24) but for around £175
Now i run my memory at 1700 is it worth spending the extra on the patriot and downclocking it maybe able to tighten the timings, or just the ocz stuff and put some more volts through it and up the speed. Anyone had any experience with the Intel extrem edition stuff?
