I google best cards for a certain power supply size and in my case a 300w delta 80 plus bronze I picked up few weeks ago for a fiver, it's a dual rail with 10a on v1 and 16a on v2 which equates to 240w usuable, as you expect it doesn't have any pcie connectors which is fine as its in a old Packard bell running a 775 P4 currently and my r7 240 2gb of unknown brand, for the usage I don't need to buy bigger power(vs 350 for £20 or a coolmaster 650w 80 plus for £30 have my eyes on mind), but I would like something better than the 240.
Now the 7750 is always suggested or the 750/750ti for this power when I search, but I don't want any of those 750 range again, just I don't know how the ranges work, so could any of you tell me if ?50 or ??50 are the highest from any series that doesn't need extra power? Or is that not the case?
Don't worry about monitor res as it either be low(non 720p or my 1080p) or gaming as they all be old games that could pretty much run off like an asus Eee other than maybe gta3 and doom 3 oh and grid as they would need some grunt lol.
