What rating PSU?

Hi All

I'm thinking that I may scale back my build slightly from what I originally planned (details somewhere in case central I think).

I'm now considering something along the lines of either an i7 930 or and AMD Phenom II 1090T running either 2 x Nvidia 480GTX cards or 2 x ATI 5870 cards.

As my plans of changed, I wondering if I can down spec my PSU from a Corsair AX1200 (yet to purchase, awaiting stock) to something of a lower wattage. Can anyone guide me on this? What wattage would be reasonable and can anyone recommend a PSU that is near silent, modular, preferably black and supplies enough wattage for the above?

an 850 will prolly be enough, althou 1000 to give u some extra room.

i would prolly stick with corsair thou

If your looking at crossfire 5870 then a 750w will be fine, again look at Antec or Corsair, iof your looking at 480 SLI then I would look at 950w ~.
