Hey!!

I used to be on that res for almost 7 years!! :eek::D:p

It's only 2-3 months ago that I swapped to 1680x1050 and now recently upgraded to 1080p.

Gaming is a great pleasure now :cool:


Hmm poll is very interesting. So minimum popular res is 1680x1050, with 1080p being the most popular. Although higher res are becoming more popular now (1440,1600)

Went from a 22" 1680x1050 16:10 screen to a 23" 1920x1080 16:9 and I didn't like the loss in top and bottom. Now on a 27" 1920x1080 16:9 and it is much better. For me, I think 16:9 is better for bigger screens otherwise it looks a bit weird and awkward for desktop use in anything smaller than 27".
 
1680 x 1050 (22 inch)

Can't see me upgrading anytime soon. Can't fit a substantially larger screen on my desk and unconvinced I would benefit from a higher res. too much...
