What resolution monitor is advisable

In regards to a flat screen monitor what resolution should i be buying ? taking into account i will probably be buying the ati 4850 graphics card.

You want to ideally run any monitor at it's optimum resolution.

So it depends on the monitor, really. For example, the Dell 2407 runs at 1920x1200

So what size monitor do you want?

Depends on budget aswell, £200 then a 20' , over £300 then a 24' . The 4850 in a suitable system will run fine in either.
