i purchased a RJ11 cable and it has reduced my connection speed but its stable.
if i put my old one back in it goes back to what its supposed to be.

i need a cable that has a small end to go into the router and a normal plug at the other end to go into the adsl filter.

this is one i purchased from ebay
if this breaks forum rules iam sorry but i could find that you sell these cables from your website

any help i would be great many thanks

On all the microfilters I've seen the output to the ADSL modem is via the smaller RJ11 connector. The 'normal' BT socket on the microfilter is meant for a telephone, and by connecting the router to this one you are filtering out the ADSL signal (which would explain the reduced connection speed).

You need a cable with the small RJ11 plug on each end. If you need a long cable then I'd get a twisted pair one as this will give better immunity to noise.
