What room is your computer in?

I'm about to get a house and wondering whether to convert a bedroom into a computer room - or let it dominate the living room.

What do you do?

What would you recommend?

Nobody else to consider, just me.

I think it is more practical to ask what room is there not a computer in, in our home anyway.

It's in my living room, beside my TV which is handy for films and doubles up as the computer's [awful] speakers.

Only 1 bedroom (though I have a sort of 'wardrobe room' which I could possibly convert into a study if I wanted to.

Just me living here.

I have a man cave with xbox bluray pc 5.1 surround and a sofa bed it's my old garage converted carpeted painted and heated

And a laptop, touchpad and phones around the house

Right now it's in the spare room which doubles up as a nursery. I haven't been able to use my computer for over a month in the evenings, need to step up the hunt for a much larger house.

My PC is in the living room next to the TV. My GF says she would never see me if my PC was in the spare bedroom.

Upstairs landing. I've done it out as an office space so as to make best use if the rest of the rooms.

Main PC in the Bedroom.
HTPC in living room
Laptop in the boys room (most of the time)

My computer can be anywhere in any room not even on a desk. I can have it in my hand or even on my lap. It does not need to be even in a room I can use it outside or even sitting on the toilet.

Main PC and server are in my office (which was a bedroom originally)
Two laptops downstairs (one each)
HTPC in kitchen and bedroom
Panny Viera covers HTPC duties in Lounge.

If you can get away without a bedroom then an office/man cave is good.
