Hi guys, I've just moved into university. I've got a mac book air so I don't have an ethernet port. I was just wondering what type of router I need to get wireless in my room. I've been told by the Internet provider representatives (ask4) that I need a wireless access point. Is it possible to configure a wireless router to work as an access point? If so is it cheaper and worthwhile as oppose to buying a proper access point?
