Need to get my sister hooked up wirelessly (is that even a word?)

Shes on AOL, she just needs the cheapest possible wireless router that will work with AOL and a PCI Wireless NIC to go with it, can anyone recommend anything?

Thanking ye kindly!

i have aol and i got a netgear dg834gt which aol "dont support" but they support te dg834g. they are both good routers which i would reccomend. go for the dg834g as its cheaper and im sure she wouldn notcie the difference between 54 and 108mbps anyway :)

Cheers mate, thats the router im currently using so will be a breeze to set up too, just wondered if AOL had problems with any particular routers.

The DG834G would be fine, as thats the router AOL themselves supply.

I got my DG834G of them when i upgarded to the 2mb package a good while ago, doddle to set up, just plug it in, go into the router, click on the automatic setup and it will set itself up, once you click on the automatic you'll get the hr glass for about 5 seconds while it does it, then it will come up with a box for the username/password (the AOL ones), so just type em in, click test to make sure it works, then click save and jobs a good'un. :D

Any routers should work really, just the DG834G is the one they will give you help with if you have problems, as thats the one they supply.
