What RTS?

I'm getting bored of FPS's now, sure they are great for a laugh but I'm after a game that I keep playing over and over and think an RTS might be what I'm after. The only problem is I've never really played an RTS for quite a number of years so have no idea which ones are any good so any suggestions are appreciated.

I've just ordered AOE3 which should turn up with my new HD and 2gb of ram

Me too but after checking my bank balance and seeing nearly £500 in there coupled with getting paid tomorrow I though why not

Well AOE3 turned up last night, I ended up ordering the deluxe edition which only cost me £20 ish. Nearly soiled myself when I saw the size of the parcel it came in.

You get the game, the making of, soundtrack, manual, quick ref. guide, in depth player guide, poster, a book with all the artwork and a demo disc to give to someone so they can try it out. :eek:

Had a quick play last night and really enjoyed it, gonna really give it a go tonight and see what I can do.
