I've become interested in making a small pc, to replace an ageing toshiba p4 laptop which is used as a desktop pc.
I was hoping that someone could recomend a s939 motherboard to use with an athlon X2 3800 processor. I intend to overclock it so i'm looking for a stable mATX board with overclocking options.
Integrated graphics are ideal so the system is quieter with less power consumption.
here's hoping that mATX boards have overclocking options as i've read that this processor is ideal to overclock:o
any opinions?:)

Anything nVidia-based is good, both for integrated graphics and overclocking. I've used two Foxconn 6150K8MD boards without problems and can recommend them.

Either the Biostar or the DFI RS482.

Personally i'd take the DFI, but you'll have trouble sourcing either, so just take the first you see.

BioStar TForce6100-939

DFI RS482

Foxconn 6100K8MA-RS

Foxconn 6150K8MA-8EKRS

BIOSTAR GEFORCE 6100-M9

EPoX EP-9GF6100-M (Note: Epox has released a BIOS fix for the >220 FSB bug.)

ASUS A8N-VM (Note: 6100+410. FSB only to 240.)
