im using viewsonic 22 1080p monitor i had it 3 years now my computers ok so gonna upgrade monitor. my budget is 400 pound whats 2560x1440 resolution like and is it worth the price

The Hazros are nice but it appears to be a lottery as the whether you get one without issues. Considerably cheaper than the competition though so maybe worth the risk. Be aware you need a decent graphics card to get the most from it if gaming at that resolution.

Ps it was worth it to me- I upgraded from a samsung22inch. Now hoping for a price war on the graphics card front so the 7970s get down to more palatable price levels

i got asus 6950 directcu11 2gb card i was looking at the hazros they got good reviews on the shop page

They are good. It's just their quality control that some call into question. It's worth reading the long thread devoted to them for others' user experiences. Get a good one and it's happy days though.

ive done some searching and 80percent like it but you always get the odd person that dont like anything except the best. still not sure though weather to just get a 120hz monitor instead

Both have advantages. Both are nice options. I play a fair bit of WoW and the extra screen real estate comes in handy. The 120hz monitors are lower resolution but many swear by them. Suspect you'd want another of those cards in Xfire to make the most of either option in the likes of BF3 and other graphics intensive games. You'll perhaps struggle to get in excess of 60fps with a 6950 without sacrificing some of the eye candy, rendering 120hz pointless (as I understand it). I got my Hazro for 360 quid here and that price was too tempting to pass up.

I was intrigued by the concept of 120Hz monitors, I'm a bit behind the times.

After a bit of reading around, in essence a 60 Hz monitor can display 60 fps. If you turn vsync off the fps may go above 60 (if you have a fast gpu) but your monitor will only show 60 due to the 60 Hz refresh rate. Vsync on locks your fps to that of your refresh rate.

120 Hz obviously then increases the possible fps to 120. Seems like the majority of people swear they notice a smoothness difference with 120 Hz monitors. Whether or not everyone would is another debate. It depends monitor attributes you regard highly; resolution, refresh rate, latency, colours, viewing angles and of course cost.
