Grease, Taper and Violentmonkey are browser add-ons that alter or append web pages in a desired way. They are generally cross-platform, so doesn't matter if you use Firefox, Chrome etc.

What scripts do you use? I thought we could pool some of our ideas together. In fact, some scripts are so useful that they act as direct replacements for some add-ons. Here are mine:

IG Helper - helps saving images from Instagram
Anti-Adblock Killer - suppresses sites the detect Adblock or uBlock
Facebook Unsponsored - eliminates sponsored links on FB feeds
Amazon Price Variation - provides a CamelCamelCamel chart inside of Amazon product pages
Pinterest Without Registration - lets you view Pinterest pages without the annoying modal pop-up

Wasn't Anti-Adblock Killer discontinued? Assuming you're using this one. I've been using Nano Defender to replace it and haven't had any issues with it. Although I noticed it was removed from the Firefox addon store due to a few issues but I still had the xpi file backed up.

I use
YouTube Links to show me all of the available formats audio/video for viewing/downloading
Youtube title adder will show a thumbnail for youtube links

what I am looking for -
something that replaces youtube embeds (eg in OC forum) and just shows me the title/meta-data of the material,
I can then triage what might be worth looking at, and only click on that.
