what search result are you getting?

Googles algorithms for displaying it's search results are a company secret.

Although they use description tags for suggestions for what to display they reserve the right to display whatever they think is appropriate.

As such changes to effect what is displayed there won't have immediate effect and you can even be sure they'll ever change.

In the past I've seen it take over 6 month for changes to an old description meta tag disappear from Google. It's VERY annoying.

EDIT:: Sorry, yeah, I'm seeing the same thing as you. Also, should point out that your best bet is to update you site with Google Webmaster Tools and read through their information on SEO.
