What series of Dexter are we on?

Is season 3 good? I was at about episode 4-5 but found it much slower than season 1 and 2 and it didn't have me hooked in the same way. As such I;ve not seen it in a while. Does it get better?
 
As far as I am aware, season 3 hasn't been shown here yet. There isn't even a season 4 listed on IMDB.

I felt exactly the same way -that it was slower and less intense - but after watching it all I realised that it was about Dexter going from boy to man and making peace with himself.....which I actually found equally gripping in a different way. Top telly.
 
Showcase has given the go ahead for season 4 and 5. They started shooting the 4th season before the 3rd season had finished in the US.
 
Cant believe its gonna take 09 fall until Dexter returns still loads of time for re watching i guess.
 
Yeah season 3 was slow but more about Dexter coming too terms :)

Looking forward too seasons 4 and 5 and its nice too have 2 confirmed series of it at sametime but still far away :(
