Hi all,
I am currently looking to migrate away from Zen to a better service. Not nessecarily looking for an ISP recommendation, more of a service recommendation. I currently have a BT line with the standard Home500 service from Zen.
I am looking for as fast a speed as possible, which is as close to unlimited downloading as possible. I dont mind some shaping between certain hours as long as Im not going to lose my connection or have to pay extra if I go over a certain amount of dl's.
According to Sam Knows, the following services are available in myr location:
BT Wholesale ADSL
BT Wholesale ADSL Max
BT Wholesale SDSL
Bulldog LLU
Easynet LLU
Now Wireless
and I am approximately 2.30km from the exchange (straight line distance).
My stats are:
Statistics Downstream
Line Rate 576 Kbps
Attainable Line Rate 5920 Kbps
Noise Margin 23.7 dB
Line Attenuation 39.0 dB
Output Power 11.9 dBm
Statistics Upstream
Line Rate 288 Kbps
Attainable Line Rate 1068 Kbps
Noise Margin 29.0 dB
Line Attenuation 31.5 dB
Output Power 14.6 dBm
So what would your recommendations be?
Many many many thanks
