What setting should I use for Free sync

I wonder if I have to do the same with g-sync? How do you limit fps on afterburner?

I believe by default Gsync uses Vsync to stop you going over the refresh rate anyways. They released a driver to allow users to disable vsync so then you would go over the range, only then you should use a frame rate limiter.

MSI afterburner when installing you get an option to install rivertuner its this that lets you do much more. Record, OSD, Limit FPS based on App or set a open setting all apps will use.

As long as you limit your frames to the FreeSync range, you'll be fine, and i also use it with in game v-sync off.

I might be out of the loop here, but isn't Freesync currently limited to ~90fps, even on high refresh monitors with 144fps?

Think that's frame rate targeting that's limited to 90fps but it's apparently 200fps in the coming crimson driver. Should get here in a month or two.
