Hi All,

I am seriously considering moving to a SFF system, so I can have this on my usual TV/DVD Rack etc with a HDMI output to my tv.

I already have components which I can move to the SFF system:-

E6600 Processor
2gb Gkill Ram
8800gtx BFG

What SFF system would you recommend which would be able to accomidate this? Is there any which can take the big 8800gtx Cards?

Ideally I would like one which will support the Quad Core processors at some point.

What cards do you guys use for receiving tv etc from Aerial and other sources.

TIA for your help

Firstly, are you sure you don't want a Shuttle? You should be able to get a Shuttle that would fit all those parts (as long as the cooler isn't too large on the GTX).

SD32G2 (945G based)

SD37P2 (975X based)

Both of those two would take your E6600 without a hitch.

Downsides, well, you'd need an external TV card, and the GTX would take up both slots, leaving you no room for expansion. I'm also unsure about Quad-core support - I strongly doubt the 945G would support them, although the 975X might, but again i'm not 100% sure. :)

The SD37P2 975x does support quad cores.

Processor Support

- Supports Intel processors with Socket 775
- Supports Quad Core: Core 2 Quad
- Supports Dual Core: Core 2 Duo, Core 2 Exterme, Pentium Extreme, Pentium D
- Supports Single Core: Pentium 4, Pentium 4 Extreme, Celeron D
- Supports 1066/800 MHz FSB, 64 bit processing, 65nm/90nm, Virtualization Technology

Thanks for your replies.

So seems like the Shuttle is the way to go.

Are these nice cases to work on - how is the cooling especially with a 8800gtx in it. Will I need to add any specia cooling?
